Practice Project

Children will be provided with construction paper, which will serve as the base for their paper stitching project.

1.) Children will practice threading the needle and adjusting the tension settings under the guidance of a mentor or instructor.

2.) Children experiment with different stitch patterns, such as straight stitches, circles, squares, zigzags, and decorative stitches, to create intricate designs and patterns on their paper.

3.) Children will develop hand-eye coordination and spatial awareness, honing their motor skills and fostering a sense of accomplishment with each stitch completed. They'll learn how to control the speed of the sewing machine and maintain a steady hand for smooth and precise stitching.
