1.) Children will explore a variety of fabric options, from colorful cottons to soft fleece and shiny satin. They'll learn how to select fabrics that match their style and preferences, considering patterns, textures, and colors.
2.) Measure and cut the fabric to the desired length and width for the headband. Children will practice using scissors or a rotary cutter to achieve precise cuts, developing their fine motor skills and spatial awareness.
3.) Children will learn basic sewing techniques such as straight stitching and backstitching to assemble the headband. Guided by step-by-step instructions, they'll sew along the edges, ensuring a neat and secure finish.
